It’s absolutely essential for each of us to do what we can to promote a healthier planet–which in turn will lead us all toward healthier lives. One aspect of a healthier planet is energy consumption. You may have considered turning to solar energy but assumed it involved a large investment or some level of changes to your home. This concept is called community solar, and it’s completely free to join. It will never cost you extra, because you don’t have to buy panels or pay for maintenance. You can enroll online (in about 5-10 minutes) to direct your energy bills toward local solar, and in turn you’ll receive solar credits that actually reduce your electric costs.
